From Los Angeles we headed into the desert seeking the strange, sacred and surreal. From the ecological disaster of the Salton Sea, through wasted commune counter culture, and into sacred tribal lands, our goal was simple, get inspired, document what we found and get lost. What we found blew our mind, take the trip!

Since our return we have been collaborating with artists, engineers, designers and craft people to make small runs of unique Shelter specific product inspired by our trip. This initial offering is a collaboration between the Shelter studio and some of our favorite makers.
