60 YEARS OF BREAD AND PUPPET
AND PETER SCHUMAN

For the last 6 months we have been working with the incredible folks at Bread and Puppet and the Bread and Puppet Press on a gallery exhibition titled 60 Years of Bread and Puppet! We have been digging thru sheds at the farm, getting our hands dirty in the printshop and writing endless grants.. and we are almost there!!!! The opening is this coming Friday, Sept 8th from 6-9pm at the Karma Bird House Gallery, downstairs at the Iskra Print Studio and outside in the yard… it’s a takeover!!! Peter Schumann will be bringing down the house with a fiddle rant at 7pm, the Bread and Puppet Press will be in Iskra Studio screenprinting original Bread and Puppet artwork, folks from the theater company will be causing a ruckus…. It’s going to be a party! Yes, and of course there will be bread!

The show will be up until Dec 1st and we will have programming in the community and at the gallery throughout the length of the show! so stay tuned!!!!

A huge thank you goes out to Alexis for her never ending energy, knowledge and support. Hillary from the Bread and Puppet press has been an incredible partner in the printshop. Of course Peter is amazing! Everyone at the farm has been beyond welcoming! It’s been an incredible experience and I am grateful for every minute of it! Funding for the show has been generously provided by the Vermont Arts Council and the Shelter Cultivation Project!
